Leasa Woods is a Certified Nutrition Consultant of nearly 10 years, and enjoys working with teens and adults alike! Being in the field of nutrition has been a life-long passion of Leasa’s as she truly believes in the power of food to heal as well as foster natural wellness! Leasa has experienced the positive effects of following a nutritionally sound diet and lifestyle for herself, patients & family. She is a strong supporter of identifying food sensitivities, intolerances, unknown allergies, and meeting her patients where they are on the journey toward a healthier diet & lifestyle. Leasa’s nutrition knowledge surrounding digestion, inflammation, athletic performance/recovery and individual nutrition counseling has been a great value to her patients.
Before joining Remedy Regenerative Medicine in 2018, Leasa worked for NutraPartners in Alamo, California. Prior to following her passion of becoming a nutritionist, Leasa was an RDAEF in the dental field for 10 years before staying home to raise her family and volunteer for her treasured children’s philanthropies, which she still enjoys as a board member today. Her personal interests include, spending time with family, reading, cooking, yoga & Pilates, travel, hiking, and skiing. Leasa has a Nutrition Certification from Bauman College, Berkeley, Ca. and completed her dental training at DVC and UCSF. She is an active member of National Association of Nutrition Practitioners (NANP), and The Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
